Caravel Autism Health (“Caravel”), a leading provider of Applied Behavioral Analysis (“ABA”) therapy to children with autism in Illinois and Wisconsin, announces an expansion of their services into Minnesota.
With Caravel’s focus on clinical excellence and best-outcomes using ABA therapy, this expansion will provide access to high quality treatment services for those children and families impacted by autism throughout Minnesota. Caravel will offer treatment options that include in-home treatment, in-center treatment or a hybrid of both: allowing families to choose the optimal treatment setting to meet the needs of their child and family.
Rochester will be the first Minnesota location that Caravel will begin to offer services to children; with an anticipated opening date in May 2019; and future plans to potentially include the Mankato, St. Cloud and Twin Cities Metro areas. Caravel Vice President of Minnesota Clinical Operations Jackie Vick said, “There is recognition of a provider shortage in Minnesota that results in children not having access to early intervention treatment that is crucial to their development and long-term success. We are very excited at Caravel to address this need and have the potential to impact wait-lists that children and families are on and allow them to get services without wait. Minnesota has a strong reputation for passionate advocacy and clinical excellence for children: Caravel will be a wonderful partner to continue that reputation for children and families impacted by autism.”
Mike Miller, Chief Executive Officer noted, “We are very excited about Caravel’s expansion into Minnesota. We have been treating children in the Chicago area and Wisconsin for years and we know that our experience, passion for clinical quality and our commitment to families and clients will forever change lives for children in Minnesota.”
Caravel will be hosting an Open House event Friday and Saturday March 8th and 9th in the Community Room at the Rochester Area Foundation Building in Rochester. This will be an opportunity for families, professionals and community members to come learn more about Caravel Autism Health and ABA treatment. Additionally, families concerned that their child may be impacted by autism will be able to meet with a mental health professional to complete an autism screening.
