Caravel offers autism diagnostic evaluations in clinic or through telehealth and provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children in a welcoming, clinic-based setting.
Our services include autism testing, early intervention, communication and language skills, social skills, school readiness, daily living and self-help skills, toilet training, mealtime and eating support, support for reducing challenging behaviors and parent/caregiver training and coaching. Children receive one-to-one therapy in clinic alongside opportunities for peer interaction. When a skill is best learned in a real-world setting (for example, a morning routine at home, a trip to the grocery store, or a haircut or dental visit), our team works with each child in the places that matter most based on their individual treatment plan.

Our clinicians, therapists, and care coordinators work closely with parents to create individualized ABA therapy plans, provide ongoing guidance, and celebrate every milestone together.
Jennifer has provided behavior analytic services to children with Autism Spectrum Disabilities since 2014. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2009 and earned her master’s in education, with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), from Arizona State University in 2017. Throughout her time at Caravel Autism Health, Jennifer has had the opportunity to work in multiple roles of the therapy team, starting as a behavior technician then moving into the role of a senior therapist before becoming a lead BCBA. She has worked with a wide range of clients, varying greatly in age, in both in-home and center-based environments. Jennifer has a passion for providing children with the communication tools needed to effectively advocate for their wants and needs and strives to give both her clients and her teams the tools they need to succeed. She focuses closely on family collaboration to ensure family members receive the training needed to participate in therapy and to continue to build on skills after the child completes services.
Brooke has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2019. She graduated with her bachelor degree in sociology and human services from St. Norbert College in 2019, earned a master’s degree in special education and ABA from Arizona State in 2022, and is currently at work on another master’s degree in early childhood education with a focus in autism from Arizona State. Brooke has had wide-ranging experience working as a registered behavior technician with early learners as well as individuals up to age 18; she has also worked as a 4K (Kindergarten for 4-year-olds) teacher. Brooke loves working in early intervention, particularly using natural environment teaching and working on communication skills that decrease maladaptive behaviors.
Savannah has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2018 just before starting her senior year at University of Wisconsin-Platteville. As she was finishing up her bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and psychology, she started providing in-home ABA services to children with autism spectrum disability through the Wisconsin Early Autism Project. Joining Caravel in 2018, Savannah has worked in multiple positions, including behavior technician, senior therapist, and since completing her master’s degree in ABA at Ball State University in 2024, BCBA. Savannah finds the most rewarding part her job to be watching children develop their own skills and find new ways to communicate their wants and needs. She loves preparing them to be as independent as possible before transitioning into a school setting.
Molly has been providing behavior analytic services with Caravel Autism Health since 2015. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in human development, from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2018 and earned her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2022. Over her 9 years at Caravel, Molly has supported children and adolescents diagnosed with autism in various roles and settings. She has worked as a behavior technician, senior therapist, and BCBA in both center-based and in-home settings. Molly is passionate about providing highly individualized, research-based, and compassionate care to every client she serves. She believes in the importance of a collaborative and child-led approach to treatment, working closely with clients and their families to identify and develop the skills needed for communicating, self-advocating, and participating in their lives to their fullest potential.
Michael has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2018. He graduated with two bachelors of science, one in psychology and once in human development, from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2018 and earned his master’s degree in ABA from Ball State University in 2025. Michael has served as an in-home behavior technician and senior therapist for two years and provided center-based services as a senior therapist for five. His clinical interests include functional communication training and using play-based, natural environment teaching to foster engagement and learning. Michael is passionate about creating a fun, supportive atmosphere for the children he works with. He strives to ensure that every client who comes to Caravel not only learns and grows but also enjoys the process in a setting that encourages independence and development.
Emily has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2015.
She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2019 with a bachelor of science in special education and went on to Florida Institute of Technology to earn her master’s degree in behavior analysis in 2023. Emily’s experience has been primarily in early intervention with children ages 2–6, and she has worked extensively with clients who have higher behavioral needs as well as clients who have differences in ways of progressing. She is passionate about ensuring that every client has a voice and that they are able to use that voice. Emily also prides herself on building relationships with clients and families to ensure that everyone is on the same page and working toward the same socially significant goals. She believes in celebrating the little changes because they are what become big changes for clients and families.
Michael has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2012. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology, with an emphasis in behavior analysis, at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2014 and graduated with his master of science in ABA from Western New England University in 2017. While completing his graduate degree, he worked in a residential ABA program with adolescents with autism ages 12–21 with high behavioral needs. Since becoming a BCBA in 2017, he has dedicated his career to serving young children ages 2–6 through early intervention services in both home and clinic settings. He is deeply passionate about helping children develop meaningful communication skills and believes that early intervention can have a lasting impact on a child’s development and quality of life. In addition to his clinical work, he enjoys mentoring and supporting team members as they pursue their BCBA certification and advance in their professional growth.

Prior to beginning treatment, a diagnostic evaluation is required. Additional testing is based on individual need and is only used if the testing will help us to design a program or treatment. In general, testing is used to help diagnose disorders and determine levels of intellectual functioning, language ability or adaptive skills. Caravel provides diagnostic evaluations or if you have one from another professional source, that can usually also be used. Testing can also be helpful to chart the effectiveness of therapy.
An evaluation and any diagnostic testing will be billed to insurance (and/or Medicaid where permissible). Testing may be a part of the initial assessment or follow-up assessment. Please check with your insurance company. Typically, your family would be responsible for a potential deductible and/or co-pay. In some states, if you have Medicaid there would be no charge for the assessment beyond what is reimbursed by Medicaid. Any questions regarding financial responsibility may be discussed prior to an appointment with our billing staff. If testing would pose a financial hardship for the family, this should be discussed with billing. We work with parents/guardians to meet the needs of their individual case. Expenses can be spread over time.
Therapy treatment typically takes place in a local Caravel clinic. Under limited and clinically appropriate circumstances, we recommend that some children receive therapy in a home-based setting.
ABA therapy programs are wide-ranging and covers all areas in which your child needs to be successful. Goals are created and broken down into small steps. The steps are then organized into a logical order and taught one small step at a time. Areas may include communication, behavioral, functional and social skills.
Research shows that the greater the amount of hours, the better the outcome for children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Children with an autism characteristically do not learn naturally throughout their days like typically developing children do. Learning is a full-time job for children that typically occurs without being noticed. Children with an autism need to be taught to learn. This means many hours of practicing these skills. Parent/guardian training and involvement is also an essential part of a successful ABA program. Tools and techniques of ABA should be incorporated into daily life. The amount of ABA therapy needed will depend on a variety of factors to be determined in the diagnostic evaluation.
Parent/guardians are trained to do individual therapy with their child. We recommend that parent/guardians engage their child in a few hours of therapy a week to be familiar with what their child is learning. Parent/guardians are encouraged to join team meetings and training provided by clinic staff or outside professionals.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is data-driven, so your clinical team will consistently record data and write session notes during each therapy session, documenting your child’s responses using our proprietary computerized data system.
Our clinicians often work closely with other professionals because we realize that different experts can add valuable insight into treatment. If suggestions can be added to a treatment plan without crossing ethical or professional boundaries, we will bring these suggestions into therapy.
