Amanda has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2006, when she was introduced to ABA by a friend who ran a social skills groups. She worked as an ABA therapist while earning her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special elementary at Western Washington University. After graduating in 2013, Amanda went on to earn her master in education at Concordia in 2015 and taught elementary school for five years. She earned a certificate in ABA from Arizona State University in 2020, returning to the field because she I loved the difference that it can make in families’ lives. Amanda has experience with individuals of various ages, particularly offering family treatment guidance, social skills programming, and non-verbal and challenging behaviors therapy. She is passionate about the continued advancement of the science of ABA and how it can impact not only the child but the entire family.
