Our City of Chicago office is located in the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute building in North Chicago. This office is conveniently located off Interstate 90 on North California Ave.

Clinical Director:

Maggie Ealy, BCBA

Maggie is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, Lead BCBA, and Clinical Director for Caravel Autism Health. She has 15 years of experience working with young children and their families, using principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis to design individualized programming and achieve measurable progress in all areas of development for children on the autism spectrum. Maggie builds and leads therapy teams that implement interventions which cultivate each child’s potential, using creative, individualized and research-based practices. With her additional background in special education, Maggie demonstrates a particular affinity for facilitating smooth transitions into classroom settings for children when clinically appropriate. She is successful in constructing effective treatment plans that meet the approval of insurers and other funding resources. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis on emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities.

Erica SmithErica Smith, MA, Lead BCBA

Erica is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Lead BCBA with Caravel Autism Health. She began her work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in 2010 while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Special Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Upon moving to Chicago in 2016, Erica began her career at Caravel Autism Health and received her master’s degree at Ball State University in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Erica has served a multitude of roles throughout her career including: developing and teaching social skills classes, teaching Senior Intern training classes, training Senior-Interns, supervising and running clinic-based sessions, conducting autism awareness and sensitivity training for faculty and students, as well as collaborating and working in schools to provide clients with behavioral support. Erica specializes in working with pre-teens and teenagers in developing the complex skills needed to navigate the social world.

Tuesday: 8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.
