Caravel Autism Health Expanding Services in Minnesota to include Mankato and surrounding areas

Media & Press, Press Releases | July 29, 2019

Caravel Autism Health (“Caravel”), a leading provider of Applied Behavioral Analysis (“ABA”) therapy to children with autism announces an expansion of their services into the Mankato and surrounding areas in Minnesota.

With Caravel’s focus on clinical excellence and best outcomes using ABA therapy, this expansion will provide access to high-quality therapy services for those children and families impacted by autism in the Mankato, New Ulm and other nearby communities in Minnesota. Caravel will offer therapy options that include in-center therapy, in-home therapy or a hybrid of both: allowing families to choose the optimal therapy setting to meet the needs of their child and family.

Caravel began providing services in the Rochester area in June of this year and will be moving into their permanent location at 1470 Industrial Blvd in Rochester this fall. Caravel Vice President of Minnesota Clinical Operations Jackie Vick said, “There has been a lot of communication with service providers from Mankato, New Ulm and other nearby communities who have shared their concern for children not having timely access to early intervention therapy that is crucial to their development and long-term success. We are very excited at Caravel to address this need and provide children and their families with a service option that will change their lives and have a long-term impact. There are many caring individuals that want what’s best for children and all of us, at Caravel are eager to be a partner and service provider for these wonderful communities”.
Mike Miller, Chief Executive Officer noted, “Caravel’s continued expansion into Minnesota allows us to bring our experience, our passion for clinical quality and our commitment to families and clients forward to the Mankato and surrounding communities. We will be able to further our mission and serve more children and their families.”

Caravel will be hosting informational sessions on Friday and Saturday, August 23rd and 24th at Blue Earth County Historical Society in Mankato and on Friday and Saturday, September 20th and 21st at Brown
County Community Services Building in New Ulm. These informational sessions will be opportunities for families, professionals, and community members to come to learn more about intensive autism therapy and services available through Caravel Autism Health. Additionally, families concerned that their child may be impacted by autism will be able to secure an appointment to meet with a mental health professional and complete an autism screening.
