Madison, WI – Caravel Autism Health has hired Christine Wilkins, BCBA, APSW to open a new clinic on the west side of Madison. She will act as the Clinic Director and Lead Therapist for the clinic that will serve families with children on the autism spectrum.
Christine Wilkins has deep experience providing autism therapy with over 16 years in the field. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Advanced Practice Social Worker. In addition to autism therapy, she is experienced in providing diagnostic evaluations, testing and social skills training for children on the autism spectrum. She has also lead groups for siblings and parents. Previously, she was with Wisconsin Early Autism Project (WEAP). She has an undergraduate degree in Child Development and Family Studies from UW Madison, and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University. She competed the required additional educational requirements for her ABA certification through Florida Institute of Technology.
The new West Madison clinic will extend Caravel’s reach in the Madison Area to the west and south of Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. This includes serving families in Madison, Fitchburg, Middleton, Verona and surrounding areas. The new clinic also plans to serve the communities outside of Madison in Southwest Wisconsin.
