Schaumburg, IL – Caravel Autism Health has opened its new clinic in Schaumburg, IL. The clinic is located at 1111 Plaza Drive, Suite 580, Schaumburg, IL. Andrea Whalen, BCBA, is the Clinical Director and Lead Therapist for the clinic.
The new clinic location will offer diagnostic evaluations and testing. Most of Caravel’s individualized therapy takes place in the child’s natural environment including home, daycare, summer camps and the surrounding community. Our Schaumburg clinic will allow us to serve families within a 20 mile radius of the new location. Andrea Whalen is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been serving the autism community for the past 13 years. With a background in social work and applied behavior analysis, Andrea strives to help children reach their full potential in all areas of their life, including family and home, school and community. Andrea has worked with children ranging in ages from 18 months to the teenage years and has enjoyed engaging in creative programming to help them learn valuable skills. In addition to leading in-home ABA teams, Andrea has taught social skills and school readiness classes, lead parent training and given community presentations to raise awareness of autism and the power of ABA.
